What Happened To Alphinaud’s Sister (Alisaie) in FFXIV? –

Alphinaud’s sister, Alisaie, is a well-known figure in the FFXIV community. But where did she go? And how does Alphinaud feel about her going missing?

Alphinaud’s sister, Alisaie, has been a part of the game since A Realm Reborn. However, she was only mentioned in the story and never appeared on-screen until now. The “what happened to alphinaud sister” is an interesting topic that many players have been wondering about for a while.

The Leveilleur twins, Alphinaud and Alisaie, are introduced early in the tale of Final Fantasy XIV. Alisaie seems to vanish until long later, whereas Alphinaud becomes a steadfast and regular ally.

The lack of Alisaie is explained. She’s still in the game’s plot, although she’s hidden behind the optional Binding Coil of Bahamut storyline.

As a consequence, if you’re only going through the Main Scenario Quests, Alisaie seems to vanish (which is understandable, there are a lot of them).

Alisaie is the central figure of the Bahamut raid series.

Although she is the main protagonist in that tale, the majority of XIV’s raid encounters are entirely elective. Unlike other games where you can easily level up and get more content, you have to go out of your way to get additional content in XIV.

Raids will be preceded by narrative tasks that gradually build up the backstory and the reason why eight people need to break in and kick some ass.

During these adventures, we will normally come to know certain NPCs pretty well – just look at how significant a specific cat from the Crystal Tower series turned out to be.

Sure, Alisaie appears from time to time before reaching level 50. She also had a couple brief encounters with the Warrior of Light. But it isn’t until much later in the Main Scenario that she and her supporters take center stage.

Because the main plot can’t overtly reference The Binding Coil (because it’s optional), novice players may find this unusual.

If ‘The Binding Coil Of Bahamut’ explains where Alisaie is, why is it optional?

This is usually due to the fact that a large portion of the playerbase will never participate in a raid.

Making 8-player multi-instance content that requires advanced strategies and levels of gear as a requirement for narrative advancement would provide a slew of challenges for the casual player.

Coil, for what it’s worth, isn’t going to be that difficult these days — even if you want to finish it with your level synchronized.

Most of the monsters you encounter will be completely flattened if you go in with 2-3 individuals who are level 70-80.

As a result, Alisaie’s tale (and a satisfactory closure to one of the game’s larger loose ends) may be enjoyed without undue stress.

Alternatively, you can simply watch it on YouTube. That is also an option.

However, wandering around ancient raids with ridiculously powerful characters is a whole other type of enjoyment!

Simply said, it’s simpler to ignore Alisaie’s absence than it is to compel a large portion of XIV’s gamers to play material they don’t want to.

The aforementioned Crystal Tower, an Alliance Raid that takes twenty-four people to finish, is the only exception.

It was formerly optional as well, but the Shadowbringers expansion’s plot was judged so vital that it was made necessary late last year.

What Has Happened to Alisaie?

To answer this question, we’d have to reveal some major Shadowbringers/Endwalker spoilers.

But, suffice it to say, she’s gone through some fantastic character development and has grown substantially as an ally.

In the game, I’ve always preferred her company over Alphinaud (though he’s come a long way, too). She is a resolute, strong-willed woman who stands in stark contrast to her brother.

Where Can I Unlock Bahamut’s Binding Coil?

The Binding Coil of Bahamut is really the first portion of The Coils of Bahamut, a longer raid.

To begin, you must be level 50 and have finished the Hard difficulty versions of Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan.

As you move through the main tale, this will happen more or less spontaneously.

Once you’ve met those requirements, pray, return to the Waking Sands (sorry! ), and talk with Urianger to begin the “Primal Awakening” quest.

You’ll be able to see what Alisaie was up to while she was gone.

It is possible to queue for it in the Duty Finder, but it does not appear in any of the roulettes, which means you may have to wait for days for a party.

If you want to experience the tale at an acceptable level, you should team up with a handful of other high-level players. Otherwise, it may be difficult to start a legitimate run. Best of luck!
